‘All That Surrounds’ is a body of work by Sydney-based photographic artist Milena Bennett. Created over months of walking the suburban streets of Croydon at the same time each day, the series reflects a daily ritual of observation and quiet search. Croydon sits between streets lined with historic houses and towering gum trees, and the constant movement of Parramatta Road, where traffic, fumes, and car dealerships dominate the air. While living there, Bennett found herself drawn to moments of stillness—seeking traces of nature and beauty amid the urban intensity.
The exhibition includes 35mm film photography and video
