Gregor Koerting

I got into working on graphic art by throwing up graffiti in the streets of my hometown when I was a teenager. Later I started to focus more on legal mural art projects and creating flyers and poster artworks for local subculture events such as techno-parties, punk rock concerts and street happenings. From there it was just one logical step getting familiar with the screen printing technique.

Getting in closer touch with the sphere of Dresden’s art school HfBK I got chance to participate at several group shows by distributing paintings, objects and art installations what made me think deeper about my general artistic approach. After moving to Shanghai I got chance to keep screen printing together with Nini Sum which formed IdleBeats.
